Antique Ganscraft Chimayo handwoven wool bag in a very rare style featuring braided wool straps and zip top closure

Fully lined in red satin

Good vintage condition given its 100-year age though there are flaws to note. There are a few light stains and tiny breaks in the exterior weave. One of the braided straps has loose stitching where it attaches to the bag. Lastly, the interior lining has paper or clay-like stain. It almost appears as though the lining got wet at some point though the exterior of the bag shows no sign of water intrusion. Please refer to photos for close ups of all of these areas. All that said, this is a great bag and an opportunity to snag a rare piece of early New Mexico history!
